And for those of you who want to know: Emilie's definition of "Opheliac" is specifically "one who has delved into madness". I made this video not long after I found out about Emilie, so I didn't have a chance to find that information. The definition in the video is according to the dictionary definition of "-pheliac" combined with the prefix "-o", which also does make some sense.

The song comes from the poem "The Lady of Shalott" by Lord Tennyson. The poem's about a woman locked in a tower who dies when she tries to escape for her love, Sir Lancelot. It's a good poem, so look it up. =)

This song was originally written to be a duet for EA and Steven Morrissey from The Smiths, however, only this demo version was recorded, with Emilie singing both parts of the duet herself. It hasn't been released on any of her albums.
