Descripción:It is often stated that all oscillators sound alike, and that it is really difficult to discern one oscillator from another, be them analog or digital. I have received a lot of flack regarding my statement that the triangle wave on the Minimoog is special.
So, as a result, I thought it might be interesting to take three of the most popular analog synthesizers and put their oscillators (and filters) to the test.
And you! Can you tell which is which?
The first part of the video demonstrates the waveforms of each synth without naming them. See if you can guess.

Descripción:This is an exploration of one of the most complex and interesting analog polyphonic synthesizers. PS series Korgs are rare and examples of them are few, so I decided to make a video demonstrating some of the sounds and capabilities.
The theme music at the beginning was composed using the PS-3100 as the only sound source, without any effect or EQing.

Guitarists who have been missing the warm, thick sounds of 70's bucket-brigade delay pedals will be delighted by the MXR Carbon Copy. The purely analog signal path preserves the warm and smooth tonal qualities and lets you get everything from short, sweet slapback echo to 600 milliseconds of cavernous, ghostly delays. The controls are quite basic. Even the most blockheaded guitar monkey should be able to figure the MXR Carbon Copy Delay out. Knobs controls are for Delay Time, Wet/Dry Mix, and Repeats. There is also a modulation button on top to add some shimmering, modulated goodness. Two internal trim pots control the width and rate of the aforementioned modulation. This is a great feature that really kicks this little echo pedal up a notch on the "lush-o-meter".
Other features of the Carbon Copy include a smart looking sparkle forest green finish, beautiful blue LED, and 9V battery or AC Adapter operation. Dig it...

soundz fantastic and like all Moogerfoogers it has controls that allow
you to vary the sound in a variety of ways that you can only do with a
Moogerfooger. Controls include:
Drive and Output Levels
allow you to set-up the Analog Delay to match the type of signal you want to delay
from low level signals (vocals,guitar) to strong signals (studio
console output, drum machine). The 104Z is designed to work with them all.
Delay time: from slightly less than 50 msec to slightly more than 1000 msec.
Mix: Pot Control from completely Dry to completely Wet or anything in between.
Feedback Control
mixes a portion of the delayed signal with the signal from your
instrument. Feedback control can generate a single echo, sustaining
echoes, or echoes that build up in chaotic ways.
Switchable Internal Loop / External Loop
selects the feedback path. In the Internal Loop position the feedback
path goes directly from the output of the delay back to the input. In
the External Loop position the feedback path goes through the Loop Out
Jack and the Loop In Jack. This gives you an opportunity to insert
signal processing in the feedback path, thereby enabling processing of
the echoes as they are generated. Very cool with another Moogerfooger
(unbelievable with the MuRF).
