Descripción:Loose Change is an internet film written and directed by Dylan Avery, produced by Korey Rowe with researcher Jason Bermas. The film presents a 9/11 conspiracy theory to set forth the claim that elements within the United States government planned and executed the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. The film was released through the creators' company, Louder than Words, and received wide attention after Loose Change 2nd Edition was featured on a Binghamton, New York local FOX affiliate, WICZ-TV (FOX 40).[1] It is one of the most watched films on the Internet, with over 10 million viewers in 2006.[2]
The accuracy and fairness of Loose Change has been disputed by Popular Mechanics, media outlets and independent researchers. On September 11, 2006 Dylan Avery and Jason Bermas appeared on "Democracy Now! the War and Peace Report", to debate James Meigs and David Dunbar,[3] two editors of Popular Mechanics and the book Debunking 9/11 Myths.[4] The film has been edited and re-released in a second edition, then recut again removing some of the inaccuracies that were in previous editions. A further "final cut" version was originally planned for release on September 11 2006, but was delayed and is now pushed back to February or March 2007.

B.A.S.E. son las siglas del acrónimo en inglés que designa los cuatro tipos de lugares desde los que se realizan los saltos en esta disciplina, son edificios (Buildings), antenas (Antennas), puentes (Spans) y tierra (Earth).
Hay algunas diferencias muy claras entre el paracaidismo deportivo y el salto B.A.S.E. En esta última disciplina no hay paracaÃdas de emergencia (no darÃa tiempo a abrirlo), de ahà que el margen de error que se pueden permitir estos saltadores sea cero. El plegado del equipo se realiza con precisión milimétrica, y puede durar hasta 45 minutos. La campana del paracaÃdas es más grande que una convencional (alrededor de 26 metros cuadrados frente a 10), para conseguir mayor fuerza de frenado en menos tiempo.
El salto B.A.S.E. es un deporte tan arriesgado que no hay competiciones, no tiene nada que ver con el paracaidismo deportivo de siempre (desde avión, skydive). Es el más peligroso de todos y su técnica de salto o caÃda es diferente. Para ser un saltador BASE y no morir en el intento has de tener muchos años de experiencia en el mundo de la caÃda libre y aún asà el riesgo es extremo.

Descripción:On October 16, 1991, Hennard drove his 1987 Ford Ranger pickup truck through the front window of a Luby's Cafeteria at 1705 East Central Texas Expressway in Killeen, yelled "This is what Bell County has done to me!", then opened fire on the restaurant's patrons and staff with a Glock 17 pistol and later a Ruger P89. About 80 people were in the restaurant at the time. He stalked, shot, and killed 23 people and wounded another 20 before committing suicide. During the shooting, he approached Suzanna Gratia Hupp and her parents. Hupp had actually brought a handgun to the Luby's Cafeteria that day, but had left it in her vehicle due to the laws in force at the time, forbidding citizens from carrying firearms. According to her later testimony in favor of Missouri's HB-1720 bill[1] and in general, after she realized that her firearm was not in her purse, but "a hundred feet away in [her] car", her father charged at Hennard in an attempt to subdue him, only to be gunned down; a short time later, her mother was also shot and killed. (Hupp later expressed regret for abiding by the law in question by leaving her firearm in her car, rather than keeping it on her person. One patron, Tommy Vaughn, threw himself through a plate-glass window to allow others to escape. Hennard allowed a mother and her four-year-old child to leave. He reloaded several times and still had ammunition remaining when he committed suicide by shooting himself in the head after being cornered and wounded by police.
Reacting to the massacre, in 1995 the Texas Legislature passed a shall-issue gun law allowing Texas citizens with the required permit to carry concealed weapons. The law had been campaigned for by Suzanna Hupp, who was present at the Luby's massacre and both of whose parents were shot and killed. Hupp testified across the country in support of concealed-handgun laws, and was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 1996. The law was signed by then-Governor George W. Bush and became part of a broad movement to allow U.S. citizens to easily obtain permits to carry concealed weapons.

Background:
Indigenous Peoples representatives and organizations held a protest at the May 2 2008 conclusion of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) in New York.
They were angered by the final report of the Permanent Forum, which ignored Indigenous Peoples stated concerns about carbon trading projects (REDD), Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and other so called" good pracise" initiatives.
During the two weeks of the UNPFII, Indigenous community representatives testified about the injustices associated with the clean development mechanism projects and asked that the UNPFII not promote the projects. However, in the final report, their testimony was ignored. The final report of the UNPFII hails World Bank-funded carbon trading as "good examples" of partnership.
Carbon trading is a system whereby companies are allowed to emit a limited amount of carbon dioxide, a gas linked to global warming. If a company does not "use up" all its carbon credits, it can sell them on the carbon market, allowing the buyer to pollute more.
Companies can also buy into "carbon offset" schemes. The idea behind this is that the polluter can "offset" the carbon it has emitted by helping to finance a "clean energy" development.
At first glance these ideas may seem good. However, there are many problems with this market-based approach.
In promoting the clean development mechanism projects and carbon trading, the Permanent Forum is allowing oil companies, who are the biggest emitters for greenhouse gases, to continue to pollute.
In other words, big corporations can buy and sell the right to pollute freely, while poor and working people—including the Indigenous peoples of the world—have no say in determining where or how much carbon should be emitted.
Additionally, the allegedly "clean energy" development programs may actually cause environmental damage and have been imposed on Indigenous people against their will.
