Far from her 80s & 90s pop-country hits, this song gets under your skin like good blues should, and feels easy to me, like a Saturday afternoon or the way you feel sated and full up after a good meal in the company of someone you love. This will always be my Bonnie Raitt. If you haven't taken a listen yet, track down this album and also her second album, Give It Up, released in 1972. She has never been better than she is across these two albums, she and her songs and her guitar recording in a cabin in the woods with her pared down band. I love the intimacy. Simply gorgeous.
