Descripción:This song was originally performed by the Trammps in 1976, and gained much greater recognition once it was included on the soundtrack to the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever.
To mass fires, yes! One hundred stories high
People gettin' loose y'all gettin' down on the roof - Do you hear?
(the folks are flaming) Folks were screamin' - out of control
It was so entertainin' - when the boogie started to explode
I heard somebody say
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno!
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno!
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down
Burnin'!
Satisfaction (uhu hu hu) came in the chain reaction
(burnin') I couldn't get enough, (till I had to self-destroy) so I had to
self destruct, (uhu hu hu)
The heat was on (burnin'), rising to the top, huh!
Everybody's goin' strong (uhu hu hu)
And that is when my spark got hot
I heard somebody say
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno!
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down, yoh!
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno!
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down
Burnin'!
Up above my head I hear music in the air - I hear music!
That makes me know there's (somebody) a party somewhere
Satisfaction came in a chain reaction - Do you hear?
I couldn't get enough, so I had to self destruct,
The heat was on, rising to the top
Everybody's goin' strong
That is when my spark got hot
I heard somebody say
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno! (Aah yeah!)
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno, yeah!
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno! (Aah yeah!)
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno, yeah!
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down
Burnin'!
I just can't stop
When(till) my spark gets hot
Just can't stop
When my spark gets hot
Burning, burning, burning, burning...

Descripción:Here's our 1992 remake of the Philly classic. The Trammps were on tour with my guitar player, Erwin Keiles, and I cut five tracks with them, this one, along with "Feet Don't Fail Me Now", "Conversation", "My Love Is Free" and "Ten Per Cent". We also did another version of this song, "Hold Back The Night", as a sort of duet along with pop group KWS, which charted top thirty. But here's the version we did of just The Trammps, remaking "Hold Back The Night"

Descripción:In 1976 The Trammps topped their soulful success with a disco hit titled, "Disco Inferno - Produced by Earl Young, Norman Harris and Ronald Baker, this LP was the break into ultimate dance floor continuity for these guys.
The song was featured in the 1977 soundtrack "Saturday Night Fever" and the rest we all know about. This cut has been the most celebrated track in disco music and even today it a stamp for the non-stop sound of the disco mix. This one aided again by the talented and incredible Tom Moulton.
Being a teenager in the 70's left me exposed to the disaster film genre starting with films such as, "Earthquake" and "The Poseidon Adventure" -- it was an exciting time and lots of adventure. I have taken some scenes from Mr. Irwin Allen's (The Master Of Disaster) and segued them into this dance classic by The Trammps. In no way do I heckle or laugh at "fire" -- this is intended as a fun and harmless excursion. I in no way want to project that pain and suffering is amusing. I hope you will understand and enjoy my "hot" little project!
Note: "Disco Inferno" was supposedly influenced by this film.
Speaking of disaster films: Check out my 1977 Super8mm remake of "Earthquake" at YouTube - shot in here in San Diego CLICK HERE

Descripción:There have been some of those deadly 're-recorded by one or more of the original artists' versions of this knocking around on CDs for a few years (in Britain at least). Why do record companies do this?? Does anyone EVER say - no, I don't want the original, give me a tacky re-recording instead please! Anyway, this is the proper 1975 recording - guaranteed!
