It is long overdue to give up on the deadly illusion of federalism, and to build a Europe of nations, united in real alliances, more modest maybe, but more effective. The Constitution and the Treaty failures must be considered as warnings. The peoples of Europe do not want this project. They won't allow it to be forced upon them, they don't want to die.
